I had mold growing in my son’s closet. After waiting through some painful communication issues with another company in Ames I gave Steamway a call. I was given an estimate the next day and even though I called them two weeks later, they put me on the schedule 10 days earlier than the other company. The estimate came in lower too. Communication was great with both the office and the workers onsite. The same person who gave my estimate did the work. Work was done in an efficient manner and when it was done I was walked through the next steps to take. Steamway Craftsmen refurbished our hardwood floors. They showed up at the appointed time and explained how the process would work and conferred with us on repair of some areas with high wear.
