My wife and I were out touring wineries in SE Wisconsin and came to Spirits of Norway unaware that we needed reservations for a tasting. As it ends up, some folks never showed up, and we were able to take their spots. Our gain, their loss. Randy is quite personable and knowledgeable of his craft. As a small boutique winery, they focus on a handful of grapes grown on the property, while also handling other grapes shipped in from other vineyards in order to expand their selection of wines. Having lived for 30+ years in an area known for its German-style wines, and the occasional vintner using the French style of making wine, I found Randy's claim of using the "American style" refreshing.
