Unreal experience! We used David as our private chef on New Year’s Eve. He cooked such delicious appetizers and entrees for 11 of us on a boat. He was very communicative, accommodating to our menu preferences, VERY aware of allergies and made substitutions accordingly, clean, attentive and the food was outstanding. Our family was so pleased! We loved the shrimp scampi and the coffee crusted tenderloin was excellent! SoFlo Chefs is one of the best caterers in Miami! I have been graced to attend many events where they were the caterers. My earliest memory of SoFlo Chefs was in 2018 I believe having their chocolate cake at a baby shower (mind you I hate chocolate cake). When I tell you that was the best cake I've ever had!!! The last time I used them was this year for my birthday. My guests were over the moon with the food and service that was provided. Everything about this experience and Soflo Chefs service was amazing! Not only were the Chefs so kind and understanding when we had a fuse blow while they were preparing food, but they were still able to serve our food on time. They were so great with our group and the food was absolutely incredible, everyone was saying it was one of the best meal they have ever had! In addition the chefs left the kitchen spotless!

I had a disappointing experience with SofloChefs when I decided to cancel an event within the designated timeframe, as per our contract. Despite following the proper procedures, SofloChefs not only refused to refund my deposit but also ceased all communication once the refund was requested. It's worth noting that our contract clearly stipulates a full refund of the deposit if the cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event. Frustrated with the lack of response, I had to resort to disputing the charge with my credit card company. Fortunately, I succeeded in the dispute, and the credit card company refunded my deposit. Regrettably, based on this unsatisfactory encounter and the apparent deviation from our contract, I cannot recommend SofloChefs to others. Read more >

We had a wonderful dinner prepared by Chef David for my birthday. He took care of everything!! He cooked and cleaned. I mixed and matched food items from different menus and he was able to accommodate my request for 2 appetizers instead of an app and a dessert (I already had a birthday cake). He is personable and this was such a treat to have a chef cook for me in my home. Everyone loved it! Hopefully we will get to enjoy another meal one day. Absolutely terrible experience with them. We purchased a more elevated package and our menu was changed [to things the bride did no like at all ] and we were not provided a table scape at all which we paid extra for. We had also booked them for a brunch next morning and the same thing happened where we were not provided with some of the food we had confirmed and we paid extra for them to bring plates and we had to use our own plates. I was owed over $100 from them after we changed to the less expressive plates and never got it and when asked about getting money back for them messing up plus the money we are owed we were IGNORED in 4 follow up emails. If you want to be ripped off go ahead and book them otherwise don’t bother. I not have to go through the complaints with my bank due to them being unresponsive and me being owed money.
