I was referred to Smart Credit when I wanted to “fix my credit”. I was a little hesitant about it at first but figured what could it hurt. Both my husband and I signed up, paid about $3000 and was told it would be refundable if at any point we weren’t happy with the services minus $99 for each thing that was removed. We also paid $27.99 a month for credit monitoring service. After about 6 months, (we paid for expedited services which was guaranteed to be done in 6 months or less or full money back) nothing had changed in either report. I requested cancellation. I’ve been requesting cancellation for 7 months now, and still have to keep messaging. I canceled the smart credit billing on my card in September.
