Small Hands Big Dreams - Kirtland

It was extremely hard and daunting finding a daycare during the pandemic but my daughter has thrived at SHBD. She has progressed to the preschool class and under the care and teaching of Ms. Alannah continues to thrive!

My husband and I have been so impressed by SHBD in Kirtland. Everyone is so friendly and it has a family atmosphere. Both teachers have been wonderful. I love the communication through the app and all the cute pictures! It makes being away from him a little easier.

Madelyn loves spending time with her friends at Small Hands. We have been in attendance for about 3 years. The teachers are always kind and welcoming with well-planned activities each day. Recently, Madelyn transitioned into an older classroom which scared her a little. She loved her time with Ms. Kiersten! But, Ms. Alannah was very helpful in making Madelyn feel comfortable in her new environment too. I also really enjoy the daily updates from Ms. Alannah. Thanks to all the staff for taking such great care of my girl!

Our experience with SHBD in Kirtland has been great! Communication has been open and they work well with the parents on behavioral issues. Our twins started attending when they were 3 and will be 5 in a few months. All of their teachers have been wonderful, but they’re currently with Ms. Alannah and we’re so thankful for her. We feel our kids are genuinely cared for through pictures, regular feedback, and how our kids speak about their teachers and we know they’ll be well prepared for kindergarten.

What a wonderful place to have your kids during the day. You can tell all the staff really cares about your children and they have all sorts of activities planned for them everyday. I like that my kids are learning, this feels so much more than a daycare. Ms. Tawana and Ms. Dominique are the best!

We’ve been at SHBD for a year now and love it there! We’ve had good experiences in every room that our kids have been in. All of the staff has been very caring and friendly. Our three year old is currently in Ms. Alannah’s room and absolutely adores her. She plans such fun activities for the kids and it’s so awesome to see what he’s learned in her classroom. He is always smiling and happy at the end of the day. Our twins are in the Duckling room with Ms. Dominique and have so much fun with her. We really enjoy seeing the artwork they bring home or new skills they learn there (such as signing “more” and “all done”) and it’s very clear she cares about her children. We are so happy we found this daycare.

They totally changed my perception of what I thought daycare was. Small Hands Big Dreams has completely raised the bar in childcare and early education. I am impressed with each aspect of the Kirtland facility. The staff is amazingly friendly…I was thoroughly impressed with almost every teacher knowing every kids name (even if the 2yr old wasn’t in their classroom yet). It’s quite comforting to be honest. That leads me to transparency. I love getting the photo updates of activities throughout the day on their app. I also appreciate the ability to check in on the classroom through their livestream app. Talk about peace of mind. I enjoy getting to see them learn new skills (through actual curriculum, and the teachers ask you for specific things you’d like your child to work on in particular)…from learning to use silverware, to different painting techniques. The food they serve is high...

Both of our kids attend and we couldn't ask for anything better.

Ms. Amanda and Ms. Danielle are so amazing. I am very happy with the care our little one recieves at SHBD Kirtland! I recieve updates throughout the day and am so happy with the activities that are going on in the Bunny room!
