We had Ariel for our physical structure inspection and Ian for our septic and water flow inspection. Both were incredibly thorough and detailed in their inspections, and spent ample time explaining their findings to us and answering all our questions. I would highly recommend both of them!

We engaged Sherwood to perform a pre-listing inspection so that we could be proactive in identifying and correcting any major issues with a 75-year-old home. The inspector, Michelle Goodrich, arrived even a bit early and was fully equipped with all the apparatus she would need for a comprehensive inspection. It took nearly three hours as advertised, and included a running commentary about what she was observing. I found her to be highly experienced and willing/able to answer all my (numerous) questions. She also offered numerous suggestions about alternatives in addressing various issues which were quite helpful.

When seat gong for a home inspector having a website that was detailed was important to me and Sherwood had that. Plus, I was in the market for an older/Victorian home and they detailed information about having expertise is historical homes. My inspector, Erik, was thorough and spent time explaining his process and what he was seeing. I’m forgetting his name but the general manager stopped by during the inspection and gave some freebies to my agent. They also had snack there for us to enjoy while the inspection happened. The report came back super quick and was highly detailed and the repair report with estimates was shared with my agent which helped us negotiate even further with the sellers.
