Although this was my first home inspection. I thought the service went very well. Daniel was early, and was already looking around the premises as I arrived. He came up and introduced himself right away. He told me what to expect, and that it was perfectly fine to follow him around and ask questions at any point. He explained everything he was doing and checking for as he was inspecting each room. He annotated everything we talked about during the inspection, and back briefed me it all. And the results were promptly sent to my inbox the next day.

I was so impressed with this inspection and Jay Park who performed it. So thorough. Every aspect of my new condo was inspected, questions were answered, and all in all it was a solid experience. I highly recommend J and Sherwood Inspection Services.

This was my first time working with Sherwood for a home inspection. I did not know what to expect other than professionalism, and I got that and more. Our inspector Carl was very professional, very personable, yet so candid about the positives and negatives of the property we were seeing that he quickly built up trust. The walkthrough took about 2 hours, during which we were thoroughly educated on not just the property we were looking at but also about construction techniques, standards, best practices, and how to lengthen the life of a property and the fixtures in it. It was an education. In addition to that, Carl was hilarious, and kept us laughing the entire time. I really appreciated his attention to detail and his patience in answering our many questions. Booking with Sherwood was a breeze! We are first-time home buyers so this was a daunting process for us, but both Jay and Ian were super accommodating, handling all our additional requests (radon, termite, sewer scope, the works) without any hassle. They showed up early, set up fast, and were extremely thorough. They walked us through key findings in real-time during the inspection, which made us feel fully in the loop and confident in the process.

We were on a tight 8-day inspection window and only had weekends available, but they made it work, including doing both the general inspection and sewer scope on the same day, which other inspection companies couldn't offer. Bonus points for the refreshments they laid out - it was a small gesture, but really appreciated!

Sherwood Inspections exceeded mine and my realtors expectations. From the moment I got on the phone with Tye It was easy and straight forward. Tye was informative with what the inspection is for and the different packages they had available. Tye was able to give a quote in a few minutes and we were able to schedule right away. The day of inspection Michelle was there early, already taking pictures of the outside of the house when we pulled up. She introduced herself and had a warm comforting demeanor. When we got out of the car there was a yellow jacket nest and immediately Michelle said we should get a spray to get rid of them so my wife went to pick up a bottle and when she got back Michelle sprayed the nest herself.
