Dr. Yonce is so warm and caring. His approach is comprehensive. From the first moments of our interactions together I was impressed by his depth of knowledge and expertise. He wants to get to know the patient to make sure that his approach will be the best fit to maximize success. We were referred to Dr. JoJo and his team at Sensorium Neuro by a friend, and later, our functional medicine doctor. Our daughter endured three life-threatening grand mal seizures due to severe mold illness, which led to hypoxemia and caused significant developmental and learning delays between the ages of three and six. After several years of minimal developmental progress, we were desperately searching for a solution that would truly make a difference.

Neurofeedback therapy has been an answered prayer! When she first started, she could barely string a sentence together. Since beginning sessions, her responsiveness and expressiveness in language have improved dramatically, and her anxiety levels have significantly decreased. She has gone from struggling with phonics to reading —an incredible transformation we never imagined could happen so quickly.

I did neurofeedback with Dr. Yonce almost 10 years ago and it was life-changing. Since then, I have visited Sensorium for two neurofeedback tune-up sessions, a handful of hyperbaric oxygen tank sessions, and I have done the Safe and Sound protocol (for the Vagus nerve) with them. I have so much respect for the wealth of knowledge Dr. Yonce has; how he is always learning and researching new tools to help people with. In addition, he has the hugest heart.
