I cooked a pound of hamburger today, starting with a rock solid piece of frozen ground beef. I added a little bit of water in the pan and used a fork to scrape off the meat as it thawed. The first thing I noticed was there was almost no fat, and when I salted it and tasted some the flavor just exploded in my mouth. I was totally delighted. In fact, it tasted so good, I just ate the whole thing. Needless to say, I'm impressed!!
