I had been dealing with a sore, stiff hip for a while before taking the leap and calling a physical therapist. I'm so glad I found Jeff! From the first appointment, he was able to determine that my hips were misaligned and over the course of just a few visits, he was able to get them back in alignment. With the stretches and strengthening exercises he showed me, I have been able to continue my therapy at home and am feeling so much better. I was referred to Jeff by a friend who is also a director of PT. I have had disk replacement in my neck and was having debilitating migraines and neck pain. I was very skeptical and had tried multiple things - massage, heat, ice. Stretch, physician visits etc. after one office visit , he was able to pinpoint exactly what the problem was. I was shocked and amazed that the tools and techniques he used within the session 100 percent relieved all my discomfort. Through my work with physical therapist Jeff Rau, I have seen incredible advances in pain management and mobility that go well beyond simple physical therapy. When I first started seeing Jeff for therapy, I was impressed by his thorough comprehension of the psychological and emotional effects that are caused by our own bodies when it comes to healing; in addition, the physical manifestation of pain.
