She is very unprofessional. She answered calls while in session with me and my husband, and even made a call to her dog groomers at one point. She talks a lot about herself, in very high regards, she would constantly be-little my upbringing while talking about what a great childhood she had, what good grades she got, how long she went to college, and how her father was always very present in her life. She gave my husband very little time to speak while we had our sessions, and claimed he was a drunk because she got a "psychic" feeling about him. When asking about parents she forget my husbands parents were pass away and asked again three times. When asking about my parents she was baffled that my mother was a lesbian and I had a step mother I was very close to. She continued to ask about their dynamic, who was the man, who did the woman, who cleaned and who did the yard...

I've been seeing Dr. Marji for over 6 months now.. her approach is one of the best I've experienced when it comes to bringing couples together as one. She will get to know each of you as individuals before she brings you together. I appreciated that because my partner and I did try other therapist and all it ever turned into was a blaming game. They never too the time out to get to know us as individuals first. She has a great way of helping you open up and effective ways to communicate with each other. I'm a mother of 3 amazing kiddos and without her help my kiddos would be going between houses... she was able to bring us together and make us see we are a team and has helped us reconnect. She's very prompt and will get back to you. I've never had an issue where she's not answered or gotten back to me when I've reached out to her.. she's an angel that was sent to my family and saved...

I felt welcome and comfortable immediately. It is not easy to talk about your problems and with Marji's support and guidance I was able to say what I mean and reflect with open eyes and heart. Our time has made a big difference already.

Dr Marge is an excellent therapist. She has helped me not only with the issues in my life but in finding out who I am as a person. She has guided me into a deeper level of understanding and self acceptance. I would not be as confident and strong if I wouldn't have had the opportunity of being in her presence.

I have been seeing Dr. Marji Prefontaine for a while now and I have found her to be very knowledgeable and helpful! She is very flexible and I feel I am getting better through her understanding of my needs. I highly recommend her if you are have issues or struggling with life. Dr Marji is a terrific therapist for people who really want help working on themselves. She takes a personal approach to therapy rather than clinical, developing a relationship over repeated visits with her patients. If you only come to a single session and then stop then you don't understand how therapy is supposed to work. I highly recommend Dr Marji to any serious adult wanting help to become the best version of themselves.

This lady was the worst therapist I have ever had! She never got my boyfriend's name right after several meetings. She said I was a cheater when she didn't even know me. And she told me that I was seeing thing that weren't there. She took THC oil the before and during our sessions. So she was high every time I talked to her. SHE IS THE WORST!!!!!

Marji has helped me tremendously. She is the nicest and smartest therapist I have ever had. She's amazing

I went to Dr. Marji to seek help with my relationship. She was very disorganized. She spoke quite a bit about her problems and compared her healthy childhood to my very unhealthy one.
As I was there to address my issues and my relationship issues I was open and honest about them and my boyfriend. She made negative comments about my boyfriend without meeting him. Which made me feel very bad. I was asking for help and she left me with the impression that it wasn't possible. So when I left I felt worse than when I went for the visit.
I did not appreciate this.
When my boyfriend went she apparently made negative comments about me.
My boyfriend and I are both professionals. I am saddened by incident because I really hoped that she would be able to help us, but it seem as though she was trying to turn is against eachother.
