Such a genuine soul! Straight forward in a professional and very respectful way! Those are the best ones! I wouldn’t want to go to another counselor who isn’t upfront with me. You won’t learn growth from counselors who don’t get to the core of the heart ❤️ and she does! She cares for her clients!

I only went to see Ms. Prefontaine once, she was polite, however I was not impressed or had a feeling she could help me with my situation. I understand the first session is paper work and getting to hear my situation. During the 30 minute session I do not believe she truely heard anything I said. She typed constantly, making poor eye contact, then she would report things back to me inaccurately, and I would have to repeat what was said.
I left believing I know more about Ms. Prefountaine than she know about me. I would not schedule another appointment or take my husband to see her.

This woman is one of the most uncaring non sensitive human ive ever met. Will leave you going home crying instead of helping you calm down meditate breathe . Make sure you go home in a better mood. A human that will make rude cold comments unprofessional but most of all cold hearted for years of doing service for God no reason why people fear church. I do not recommend this place if you suffer any mental illness, if you're emotional, sensitive nor delicate soul. Especially if you stand out. The main reason for therapy is self growth work hard take more sessions even it seems impossible for couples if they love each other *when there's a will there's a way* we go to therapy for that not 3 or 4 sessions to be told its too hard quit ! Just unbelievable. Disappointed highly.

If you’re a man desperately searching the internet for a marriage counselor in ABQ, take my advice and DONT COME HERE! The therapist is biased against men and you will leave there in a much worse situation.Please contact me before believing the positive reviews of this doctor, I can save you the hour visit and your insurance copay
