Dr. Marjie is Amazing!
This is the first work I have ever done with a counselor / therapist / mental health professional. I honestly did not know what to expect. I'm a mans man, a typical alpha male and I do not engage in many emotional conversations, thus I was unaware of the benefit of such conversations.
Having no idea what to expect... I have been outrageously surprised with this entire experience.
Dr. Marjie has connected with me, and guided me through events of emotional trauma that I've experienced in my life and then burried in my mind (because Im a man and men dont talk about such things).
She has helped me to see how all things, good and bad, create the man that I am.. .and in order to change my current projection in the world, I must at least address things in my mind that can be holding me back.

Oh HELL NO!
She answered the phone and I didn't understand what she said so I asked her to repeat herself.
Before I could say another thing she hung up on me!
Seems to me that the doctor is treating herself and needs to find herself an outside source of therapy!
No reason for that behavior especially if you're SUPPOSED to be a professional!
I can guarantee, that is not professional!
There is no way this so-called therapist can help anyone!
She needs to help herself first!

Edit: I called to seek psychiatric help. Of course she doesn't know who I am because the person who answered the phone was horrible and rude.
She was as good as needing psychiatric help herself!
And you don't know who I am cuz there's no way in God's green Earth I'm ever going to go there!
The woman who answered the phone was out of control.

Was seeking help for my relationship. We went with Dr. Marji. Our appointment was from 1-150. However when we arrived we had to fill out these papers with like 50 questions that have nothing to do with anything, such as my siblings occupation, how much my family makes a year, my occupation, etc. It took up the first 15 minutes.( Didn’t know I was paying to fill out papers for you) Therefore after I was done filling out the papers we only had 35 min to “talk” Anyways, my boyfriend and I were talking to her and she never really helped with anything, all she did was ask questions that any other person could have asked. Like what do you have a PhD for ? The last thing was when we were in the middle of the conversation she claps her hands and says “Alright we are done for today.” Like I know you’re based on appointments but that was so unprofessional and rude. Terrible counselor. She made comments about situations we discussed. For example, she said, “That is mean.”
This seems completely unprofessional. She took about 20 minutes getting our paperwork sorted and then she used the bathroom, turned on cooler because the room was about 90 degrees Fahrenheit. opened windows etc. while she was getting paid for our therapy session. She literally took notes and made comments such as “Well what was he supposed to do, the war would continue anyways?”
I know you may be desperately trying to find a counselor for various reasons. She will not help. You are better off talking to a caring neighbor. All she cares about is the money! She has no administrative help and she books herself back to back. So, your session will feel very rushed and then she will shoo you out.

Dr. Prefontaine is amazing, whether you’re going through obstacles and marriage, divorce, or coparenting Would recommend

Dr. Marji helped a lot in so many ways. Through her suggestions and work, everything is so much much better, stronger, and fruitful. My communication is 100% better. Dr. Marji is knowledgeable, empathic, understanding, and very helpful with myself and relationships. I most definitely recommend Dr. Marji.

I simply can't say enough about the positive results I've received from this counselor. Absolutely amazing.!!!!!!!!

Look I'm not much into head-shrinking. Or at least i wasnt until I seen Dr. Marji. This lady knows her stuff. I went to see her because i was worried about how i couldnt maintain a relationship and i kept finding that my friends were getting tired of my bad attitude. She helped me learn to trust my discomfort and be more open to change. Working on how I treat others in all my relationships has really improved my communication with friends, family, coworkers and my kids. She helped me manage my anger and get in touch with my own needs. Now three years later my social life and home life are better than ever. Thank you for teaching me self-love Dr. M!

I can't say enough what a difference this place & Dr. Marji helped make in my relationship. Not a touchy feely kinda guy but Dr. Marji took me a place inside myself that made me realize that a lot of my issues with trusting my partner come from deep seated problems in my past that I've unfairly been projecting into my current relationship. I was a mess when we started seeing her, but I was a mess she knew exactly how to help clean up. Everyone should give this woman their money!
