I was impressed that the technician looked for tags on the furniture about cleaning instructions. We found the couch was not able to receive steam cleaning. He switched to chemical clean but also did a test area first to make sure there were no strange blotchy areas emerging. The chem clean carried a strong odor for 24 hours.
