The technician showed up with an hour of scheduled time. He was here to replace the the torsion springs. Great job installing them. As luck would have it, the garage door opener smoked once he plugged it in again.
The technician had Linear garage door openers with him, so I had him replace the burned out unit. His work was flawless.
My only issue was I think he gave me some bad information about the replacement. He told me it was a 3/4 HP and was commercial grade. The day after install, it looked up the model # (LDC0800) and the specs state 1/2 HP residential unit. I am a big believer of honesty, so I am disappointed that I was given misleading information, but the technician was great and hopefully this unit is worth the high $$ I paid for it.
