PEP Solar

We interviewed several solar companies before settling on PEP. Very happy with the system overall. We've only been online with it for a couple weeks. From the salesman to the guys who did the actual install, very pleased. They took the time to explain the whole process and even painted the conduit. Very professional throughout. There's so many companies trying to sell solar that you have to ask the right questions in order to not end up with a mess. Would highly recommend PEP Solar. Thank you.

I've had my panels for a few years now and am very pleased with their performance. Pep solar has been very attentive to my needs over the years. When ever I had issues they were able to rectify the problem efficiently and effectively.

PEP uses their own crew and they are very efficient and helpful and know what they are doing. They also supply excellent solar equipment. My panels are working great.

This review is for our second system from PEP Solar. As before, they did an excellent job throughout the process and we are very happy with the results. What separates PEP form other solar companies is their focus on selling systems that are very well designed and engineered based on their decades of experience as opposed to selling you something you may not need. The result is a high quality system at a fair price that will actually perform up to expectations. We do not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family over all their competitors.

The Pep Solar team is a great asset to the Arizona Community. We contracted Pep Solar to install a Tesla PowerWall at our residential property. Each member of the team was helpful and informative; we are so happy to now have a trusted source for our Solar and Battery Backup needs. Pep Solar seamlessly took care of all the permits and necessary documentation making the entire process a cinch. The onsite install team especially proved to exceed our expectations with thoroughness and customer attentiveness. The Tesla PowerWall (Battery Backup System) now works in conjunction with our previously installed solar panel system and the APS electric grid. We are no longer subjected to random APS electric grid failures and now our Solar Panels are functioning to supply our house power whenever the sun is shining! Thank you for our newly found Energy Independence!

PROPS to PEP Solar!!!

4 years ago we had PEP Solar install solar panels on our roof. At the time I was very worried because our house was 20 years old and our red tile roof had never received any kind of service. I told PEP Solar at the time I did not want to move forward with the project because I felt at some point in the near future the roof would need to have the underlayment replaced. 20+ year Old Home in Arizona with a red tile roof = Significant Roof repair will be needed soon.

Pep Solar told me not to worry and they would, one time only, remove and replace the solar panels IF the roof needed repair in the future. Ultimately this was added to our "contract."

As it turns out, in the last storm our roof started leaking and sure enough, to repair properly, all of the solar panels need to come down and then go back up. One roofer...

These guys know what they are doing. Mike put forth great effort to get everything done during a difficult covid time. I love my Tesla power wall batteries. There is no one better in Phoenix than PEP.

The PEP SOLAR crew of electricians and installers did a superior job of installing our 23 solar panels and our 2 Tesla power walls. We also had their project concierge working with us to keep us apprised of permits, scheduling and payments so that the project could move seamlessly!

My husband and I were amazed at how quickly, efficiently and expertly they completed the job--from installation of panels to complete set up of our power walls (storage batteries). We would both highly recommend this company to anyone who is thinking about adding a solar system to their home or business. Thank you PEP solar for a job well done!! 👍🏼👍🏼

This is an interesting review to write as there were many things about working with PEP Solar that were great.., and a couple others that were not. Their Sales Rep (Dallas) was instrumental in getting us to choose them in the first place. His ability to explain the options, process, financial advantages and disadvantages, and in general helping us to understand the current state of Solar in the state was impressive. We had been thinking about Solar for a long time.., but were frequently unable to get comfortable with the basics. (5⭐️)

Once we signed the contract… they try to use an automated system called Bodhi to communicate status. It is a complete waste of time and or resources. It provides no usable information and adds confusion to the process. (0 ⭐️)

We eventually reached back out to Dallas to get status updates.., and he referred us to someone...

These guys did what they said they would do. They were ontime and the tech that ran the crew at our house was very informative and knowledgeable! Our system has been working now for two months and I can watch the performance in KW hours on my phone each day. We are producing more than we are consuming but I don’t have a lot of data to report since our system is so new. It looks like we will be 20-30% over what we use so our bill should be around zero but I’m expecting to pay the service fee from APS and not much more. Or it may even give us credits for that. I would use PEP solar again!
