Peas in a Pod Learning Center

My husband and I love Peas in a Pod! We are grandparents and the webcam is a huge hit with us! We really enjoy being able to watch our grandson play and interact with the other kids as well as the teachers. Speaking of the teachers, they are great! The love, attention, and instruction they give to the kids is great! Even their discipline is designed to correct the behavior while respecting the child. Our grandson is obviously happy and when I babysit, he always seems to have a new song or something to share that he’s learned there. He can even name the planets in our solar system! We also love that Peas in a Pod is Christian-based so it reinforces what we are also teaching him. The kids appear to have a well-balanced daily schedule that includes crafts, stories, activities, snacks, lunch, and a nap. We are so grateful to Peas in a Pod for their excellent care of our daughter. Our daughter receives care from teachers that truly love her. Picking a daycare is hard but since moving Dean here a year ago it’s been nothing but pure bliss. Not only is Dean thriving as a little person but he’s getting to learn from special guest speakers for all over the community. From the Brazos Valley Natural History museum to our local law enforcement. Dean not only learns how to interact with his peers and his basic kinder ready skills but he’s learning to become part of a much larger world. I love the staff here as well, Ms Emily and Stephanie make me feel like family whenever we drop off and pick up. It’s a wonderful haven in this crazy world. Read more >

I love Peas in a Pod because they make child care feel like family care. The class sizes are small, all the kids get along really well together, the staff is super friendly and inviting. They send pictures throughout the day so I feel connected to Dean even when we’re apart. They also bring the community to the center so they learn from community leaders about caring and helping others and responsibility for the world around you. I can’t say enough about all the special learning gets to participate in here. I feel blessed to be able to bring him to such a wonderful place. Read more >
