OX Car Care™

Do not, I repeat DO NOT purchase an auto warranty from Ox Car Care. It is a total SCAM! They convinced me to purchase the platinum plan which cost $180 a month. I bought a 2017 Volvo XC 90 in August 2023. My check engine light came on in May 2024, I took it to a certified auto repair shop, and they turned in the estimate to Ox Car Care. My car sat in the shop for almost a month before Ox Car Care came back and said that they would not give any money towards the repair of my car. The reason they cited is that the problems on my car were pre-existing and that they existed at the time when I purchased it. Before I purchased my car, I paid a certified mechanic to do a full inspection on my car, it passed with no issues. Even though the repair shop explained to Ox Car Care that there was no way possible to drive around in this car for almost a year with the problems that were now showing...

I wish I could have given a lower score. Since the very beginnong I have had problems with this company. They were suppose to automatically deduct payments on the 1st of each month but deducted money out of my account on the wrong day. I cancelled auto deduct and deducted it anyway. I am angry and frustrated because I had to call multiple times with the promise that they would rectify the situation and it didn't happen! I have cancelled my policy and I will see if they still deduct from my account!

Oxcare, Is just as bad as car shield. They find every excuse under the book on why not to help. They have a staff of young people who can care less about their job or you for that matter. All and all you're better off getting A Auto-repair credit card. Be careful, they do have A Experienced sales department.
