Osaki Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse

Hibachi chef was fun. Sushi was pretty good as well. Pretty on par compared to ayoma before.

This is one of the best new restaurants. The portions are large, the food is excellent, and the service was outstanding. I loved the Osaki dinner for one, and will be going back soon for more! My chef was extremely personable.

Here as Japan 🇯 🇵 under Mount Fuji, cherry blossoms in full bloom. There is a wonderful abundance of food. We must come here and enjoy the delicious food

The sushi was ok, not the best in Erie, but competently cut and plated.

However, I was not thrilled to be one of the first in Erie to pay $6.75 for a simple mixed drink of Bacardi, and an extra $0.50 on top of that for my mixer of soda water. That's right folks, this place charges for your drink mixers. In all my years of existence I have literally never seen that before. So my drink was $7.25, and I have never paid so much for a simple drink in this city before. For the price of three of these drinks I could buy a 1.5 L bottle of Bacardi and make 30+ drinks.

Tl;dr: Delusional drink pricing and mediocre sushi.

Food was amazing everything had it's own flavor. Ayoma had taken a down hill turn over the last year...this makes up for it. Nice work, hope it stays this yummy.

Going to Ayoyama previously and having something to compare this to, I will recommend Osaki for sure. We went to the hibachi, enjoyed some good food. Our cook was newer and less experienced than some for sure. The food was good, the wait staff visited frequently and they treated my family well. We got the steak/shrimp and fillet / salmon and everything was tasty.

I would 100% recommend. Everyone was extremely attentive and went above and beyond. The food was fresh, flavorful and the portions were large. We will be back for sure!
