Osaki Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse

Wednesday at 2pm. only 2 patrons as far as I know. server was super nice and helpful. Toro our chef was amazing and kind. great food. great service. being a table of two we didn't expect or want a big show but Toro did a great job of making us laugh and we had a lot of fun. the place is much cleaner than last time I went when it was aoyama too

Hung our chef was awesome. The whole experience was lovely and entertaining. We had a party of 13 celebrating a birthday and they handled it great. Food was incredible, service was great and Hung was very impressive. Highly recommend for dinner with significant other or for entertaining a large party. 🔥😋

Things started out okay. Then they set a family by us that was extremely bossy. So our original server just opted out on us so we had to deal with the consequences simply due to being unlucky enough to sit by this family. My sushi was forgotten about cont. times and our food “had” to be specifically cooked to match this other family’s requests. I literally wish this meal was free because it wasn’t worth anything. Again brought up that I never got my sushi and nothing. Lost another star. Edit 3, the over charged us and then said too bad can’t do anything to fix it. Edit 4, called and said I was overcharged for the noodle order amounts and I got a “oh okay bye bye.”

Went to go in at 11 becuase everywhere we looked it said it opened at 11 and got a rude response from the greeter telling us they dont open till 11:30 and when we said there sign said they open at 11 he said that the cook isn't there and we had to wait I would not recommend going here if you want to have a pleasant meal

Not the best sushi in the area but assumed staffing was an issue due to the pandemic and was willing to give this place another try. Today’s experience confirmed my doubt. We were seated in a booth in the lower level and our server took our drink order over the railing looking down upon us and then proceeded to deliver our drinks in the same manner. After asking if we were ready to order we decided we didn’t want to receive our food reached over a railing. We were the only people seated in this area, nicely dressed and clean so I’m not sure why the two steps putting a server at eye level was an inconvenience. I felt this to be very unprofessional, impersonal, rude and not worth my business ever again.
