Osaki Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse

I called and made a reservation for 5,
I specifically requested we sit at a table to ourselves to which his reply was no problem.. We arrived and my family was dressed up ( dresses, high heels, suits), we were sat with a group of 3 people wearing sweatpants and hoodies…
I asked to move and we were allowed to move but I could tell the manager was irritated.
The chef who cooked for us wasn’t fun he didn’t put on a show like the rest of the tables and undercooked my mothers chicken, completely RAW!!
She asked the waiter if there was anything he could do and he brought her a plate of new chicken????
She didn’t eat any of it to nervous the chicken had gotten blood into the rice or the vegetables.
When we left and we’re going to pay we brought this to the managers attention and he was very RUDE.

The pad thai was legitimately one of the worst things I have ever had. They use regular spaghetti pasta with almost no sauce, some dry chicken and that’s about it. Taste like noodles and that’s it.

Their soup, salad, and rice were definitely the mvp's in my experience. The service was top notch and prices were average for a hibachi restaurant. Overall I'd definitely consider checking this place out.

Great food and great entertainment. The chef was amazing and friendly.

The ambience is so nice but everything else was lacking. I feel bad to even post a poor review because I do believe that part of it was due to a lack of staff.
I ordered sushi and vegetable noodles. They brought [what looked to be] microwaved noodles with a bowl on top fo them first and the vegetables 10 minutes. It was just odd.
The sushi was fresh. The sake was pleasant as well.
I will most likely try this spot again at a later time.

Worst sushi in Erie, give you incredibly small rolls and charges normal price for them. Their rolls are actually half the size of any sushi you’d find at a grocery store. The texture of their sushi was equivalent to rubber and lacked taste. No one else was in the restaurant, and yet they didn’t have enough plates for a group of 5, and still charged a 20% gratituity. Will definitely not be coming back here, Save your money
