Usually i absolutely love this place tonight we went there for dinner. Our cook "hunk" was not friendly at all, he in my.opinon was rude and flung the food on the plate where food was bouncing off the plates and our server never came to fill up drinks not once we have to find him in order to get another drink. Very disappointed with our experience tonight

Wish I could rate less stars. Our group of 6 people went to Osaki for the hibachi dinners. We used to eat there when it was Aoyoma Japenese Steakhouse. Wish it was still Aoyoma. Our so called server forgot to bring our soup and salads, and my wife ordered filet mignone and they gave her regular steak. The chef did make good on the filet, but none of the steaks had any flavor and most were over cooked. You had to eat each portion the chef made at a time, otherwise it would be cold. So you ate your rice, then your meat, then your vegetables. You could not eat your meal together. We tipped our chef who made our meal and served our meal, then when we got the bill and they hit us with another 18% gratuity. We asked for the manager and he was ignorant and rude. Absolutely appalling.. horrible service. Could be better chef and food but still understood the work and gave him a tip. Being in the service I was very very displeased and decided not to further tip esp since I sat with an empty glass all night. Then was forced without being told to give and 18% tip when I HAD ALREADY GIVEN A TIP. ridiculous and I will never give business to them again.

i am really going to try to put my experience into words but it’s going to be hard to find such words to describe the exquisite night i had here at osaki. everything that happened happened right. we had speedy service and our waiter was quite attractive and charming in the best way possible. we had the most delicious appetizers to our meal which included an excellent soup and salad. the salad dressing was TO DIE FOR and then go to heaven and come back reincarnated as the dressing and that’s not even enough to describe it. unless you’ve experienced it, you don’t even know. it’s beyond perfect. then our meal came out and exceeded any prior expectations i had in place. so phenomenal, maybe even beyond that. i hope everyone can experience a meal like this atleast once in their life. i had an epiphany moment when i was eating and realized how the little things in life can change your whole...
