Osaki Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse

Food and service was great! Could be a little cleaner especially with such beautiful atmosphere.

Service is awful. Food is actually good. Been here a few times and each time it’s taken a very long time (which I understand due to staffing issues, and I can excuse that). However, our most recent experience resulted in a 2 hour wait for food, not having our reservation properly honored, messed up orders, and then being sassed at by wait staff because we asked for our orders to be corrected. Then we were told that the chef “had 20 plates lined up” and wouldn’t be getting our food. Not worth it, won’t be going back. There are many other options in the Erie area for sushi which have friendly staff and good food.

Service was bad, food was kinda boring. Not memorable.

Do not eat here. Our food was inedible, tasteless, and bland. The tables are sticky and dirty and the fountain barely has any water in it. When I asked about our food, supposedly grilled chicken teriyaki, I was told they do not use any seasoning while cooking. Not even salt and pepper. My chicken was not grilled, it was boiled. There weren't any grill marks on it.

The food is extremely bland, and just not good. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken dish. My chicken was rubbery and pre boiled. There was absolutely no color to the chicken whatsoever. The manager came to the table and said “we don’t use any seasoning on our food due to allergies” lol. I prefer food with flavor. Japanese food is extremely flavorful and bold, but not at Osaki, it’s boring and uninspiring. If you want amazing Japanese food that reflects the prices go to Bar Ronin.

Always happy to have lunch here! The prices are really good, and the food is fantastic. Usually great service, although THIS trip, our waiter wasn't very attentive until it was time to put the tip on the receipt! They have both Hibachi and a dining room, their sushi is fresh and very tasty and I love their fried rice and Tempura Shrimp. For some reason they always bring the side of fried rice out WAY before the rest of the meal, next time I'll have to remember to ask for it all at the same time.

Thankfully THIS time they put a soup bowl over the fried rice, so it was still hot when the rest of the food came!
I haven't tried anything new cuz the Shrimp Tempura is too good to pass up! Although we DID try the Octopus once and it was AWFUL on so many levels! It's BABY octopuses (octopi?) Cold, tasted like...

Food was great! Restroom was very dark and needed maintenance badly!
