Osaki Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse

Since this place was found with 14 critical health violations, it seems like a good time to talk about my experience here.

I witnessed the sushi chef throw a menu at a server when she asked what was in a roll.

I asked the manager if I could talk to that server and he told me to find her myself.

My bill was not itemized. Upon requesting a itemized receipt, I discovered they charged me a gratuity. Nowhere in the menu does it state they do this.

Terrible restaurant with shady practices. It deserves to be closed down.

Wondering why they were closed Wednesday of last week while I had a reservation of 8. But I understand now with 14 critical health violations. Won’t be coming back to this establishment! Thought it looked cleaned. But can’t judge a book by its cover unless you’re the one going to finish it like this health inspector! Thanks for letting us know what this place is really like. We will take our families to the other one!

Best Sushi I have ever had.

Visited in early March...This place used to be so much better...our chef was mediocre, he barely did any of the cool stuff...we got an onion volcano that was about it...the salad dressing was watery, service and food was just ok. I expected more wow! There was no wow.

We had made a reservation and when we got sat they had formed us our server was behind and would be a minute to greet us. 30 minutes went by so I went and talked to the host to get a server. We had ordered everything when she came to us and when our food came out it was all wrong. Tried telling us what we ordered even though what was on our plates was not what we ordered. Our appetizer came out with our meals. She brought the checks to us as we’re still eating. Then had the audacity to ask us for more money for a tip because what we left wasn’t enough? Overall wouldn’t recommend.
