The Goddard School of Folsom

We’ve only been at Goddard for about two months but so far it has been going really well! We’ve left three other daycares in the area and felt like we would never find the right one for us.

Something we love is how calm, clean, and organized it feels. I love the separation of the classrooms and the adorable sea life names. I feel like my kids are safe when I drop off. The entry way is super secure and requires multiple steps to enter the building. The teachers acknowledge us when we enter and I feel like my child will remain in that classroom after I leave (felt unsafe in the chaos at a previous daycare and worried about my child trying to follow me out, unnoticed).

The teachers are caring and the front staff is very responsive by text!!! It’s hard to wait until the end of the day, but the daily reports are extremely thorough. You get it as soon as you pick... Read more >

Goddard Teachers in Folsom are wonderful people who make leaving your child at daycare less stressful. Every day, our child leaves for school full of enthusiasm and returns home with new knowledge, words, songs, and tricks. When she's there, I don't ever worry about her. We love The Goddard School (Folsom)!! I have both my kids here, 2 yo and 4 yo. They love their teachers and are always so excited when we walk into the school! We are always greeted by one of the admins and love the warm Good Morning welcome. Once I drop my kids off, I always leave feeling very comfortable that they are in the best hands. If I ever have a question/concern or if they do, we can easily text eachother throughout the day with quick responses. I love that! One of my favorite things, is the Tadpools App the school uses for all parents to get a day to day run down of how the day went, including adorable photos of my kids, updates, curriculum for each week, and teachers comments or announcements. Folsom Goddard feels like family. I’ve been lucky enough to have all 3 of my boys attend and the teachers and staff are amazing. They always have a monthly calendar that has themed weeks and dress up days (which the boys love). I have no idea how the directors and management team do it, but they develop a relationship with every child there to the point where they can tell my identical twin boys apart and know their interests, likes and dislikes. They also go all out on school events: trunk or treat, winter concert (for the upper classes) and the pancake breakfast with Santa just to name a few. These events have helped my boys make memories with their Goddard friends that will last a lifetime. The teachers are also amazing! I have two kids enrolled at Goddard, one in Pre-K and one in Preschool. We just moved to the area and this school came highly recommended… I now see why! Goddard staff has been extremely welcoming and my kids fit right in. While it took my youngest some time to adjust, watching the nurturing teachers and administration put me at ease leaving at drop off. The on-site owner, Ms. Kaylee, and her team are so passionate about what they do. They go above and beyond to make the children AND the parents feel welcome and comfortable with their communication. It warms my heart how happy and excited they are to go to school and learn each day. I especially love the daily pictures and reports of the weekly activities. There’s a parent app, Tadpoles, that shows what the kids are learning so I can ask them questions about their day.

As a first time mom I had a lot of feelings around putting my daughter in daycare, and wanted to find a facility that I felt would not only meet her every day needs but would love and nurture her. Goddard exceeded my expectations. I started my daughter at this school when she was 6 months old, and from day one it felt like she was a part of the Goddard family. On top of the daily pictures and detailed reports about the day, her teacher made an effort to step outside and check in with me at least weekly and this meant the world to me as due to Covid we weren't allowed in the building yet (now we are :)). They worked with my daughter on the schedule that I had asked them to follow and I was thrilled and astonished as I watched her thrive and learn so much! Both of our kids have been attending this school for almost three years now. I cannot tell you how amazed we have been with with everything. From their attention to detail when it comes to safety, the staff they hire and the incredible activities they plan for the kids on a daily basis. They have different themed days every week and our son gets so excited to dress up in whatever the weeks theme is. I was also incredibly impressed with their response to COVID. While the world around us seemed to be acting irrational, they were making well thought out practical decisions while maintaining a level of safety that keep us considered parents comfortable.
