This was the very first time someone told me that there was a chance the procedure would not work. Again, this was the first time SOMEONE told me this procedure wasn’t 100% guarantee.
Yes, the fine prints, release forms, and legal documents might cover that. But what about the company ethics?! What covers the ethics of a company that takes $2.4k of a patient for an ineffective procedure?
I was never, I repeat, NEVER told in person about the risks of an ineffective treatment. I was told, in fact, that I could expect a visible result in just a few weeks, up to a couple of months.
Again, yes, the fine prints and legal documents will protect the company against legal issues. But they don’t protect your reputation and ethics.
