They calculate your square footage off of the highest online realtor listing (Zillow, Redfin, etc.) rather than the actual square footage and refuse to book lower times even if the maids end up twiddling their thumbs.. Maids are often outsourced from other companies and never do more than a curesry clean, despite the purchase of "deep cleaning." But they do show up on short notice.
