I had vein ablation procedure today. I’ve had varicose veins for a long time and just put off doing anything about them- mainly because I had friends who had “vein stripping”done and it sounded awful! I heard about Dr Dohner from my Acupuncturist and he set me up for an Ultrasound of my leg that was very swollen and painful. After the ultrasound he discussed the problem with my leg and what could be done to help. He takes his time explaining and answers any questions. I felt very reassured that having the vein taken care of with laser -it was a procedure I wouldn’t mind having done. The procedure was 98% painless and took just about an hour start to finish. Everyone in his office works as a team, knows their job well and are all very professional and friendly. I highly recommend New York Skin and Vein Center and Dr Dohner.
