Nadim's Downtown

Bestie and I went in for dinner. Short ribs were bomb. Her steak was good too. We never got our appetizers and waitress barely checked on us once we got our food. Would I go again, yes because the food is good. Just hope I have better service.

The small but quaint restaurant with the AMAZING food and the owner Nadim has the best personality. Nadim does not have a problem sitting down with you and chatting it up while you eat. I want to go there every time I am in Springfield 💜

My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Nadim's Mediterranean Restaurant in Springfield….
And I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience start to finish!

I started with the house made Babba Ghannouj and Hugh had the Salmon Cakes-both incredible. In fact, the Babba was the best I’ve ever had-and I’m an eggplant lover! Hugh enjoyed his Salmon Cakes as much as I enjoyed my Babba…
For our entrees I had a Bistro Steak with veggies and rice pilaf, Hugh had the Lamb Steak with Mashed Potatoes….all delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
Our server Amir was top notch and his service was spot on through our entire meal.
We’ve waited far too long to try out Nadim’s-and I’m so glad we did!
I can’t wait to return for more yummy Mediterranean delicacies !

I had the beef shish for lunch and it was great. Our server was attentive, and answered all of our questions. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

Their tabouleh is amazing. I would like their hummus to have just a bit more lemon and garlic, but I'm a garlic freak who triples what recipes call for in a nice that can only be described as reckless madness, all that's probably just me being hella thirsty for alliums.

They've got a full bar that is well supplied, but no absinthe or chartreuse so you don't expect to get *too* fancy. Still, for a Mediterranean grill the bar is very well supplied.

I am vegan, so I can't vouch for anything with meat or cheese, but the vegan player was all good. The babaganoush in particular is really zesty which I liked.

Honestly, both times I've gone it's been such a nice experience that I could just focus on my date who was and is gorgeous such that I honestly remember more about her than the restaurant, but isn't that what you want really: good food, good...
