Nadim's Downtown

My family and I visited Nadim's Downtown Mediterranean Grill in downtown Springfield, MA, after catching a Springfield Thunderbirds hockey game, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience!

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Our server, Aura, was engaging, knowledgeable, and a true delight. She made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Nadim, who has an excellent sense of humor and made our visit even more memorable.

The food was exceptional. The Halloumi appetizer was a crowd-pleaser, and every dish we ordered was a hit. The Beef Kabobs were perfectly tender and flavorful, and the vegetarian rice was delicious. The Pan-Seared Chicken was cooked to perfection, and the short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth amazing.

Hello, was anticipating finally trying nadims after it being suggested to me by multiple people. Was very excited and went over the weekend. When arriving there was a long line and I had to wait. But during the waiting period multiple people (who had an “in”) were allowed to cut the line without reservations delaying my seating. When I finally sat down the waiting staff was rude and short with me when trying to find the menu options that suit my allergies. When the food arrived it was undercooked and missing multiple sides that were on the menu. When addressing the waiting staff about this they acted like I was in the wrong and like I was inconveniencing them. Overall very let down by my experience and will not be giving my business to them any time soon.

The owner was extremely rude to me the entire time I was at this establishment. The service was extremely slow. And the lettuce on my salad was a hint brown. Overall was expecting much better service.

So many vegetarian and vegan options!! The vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu, and there are so many options - I've been twice now, and would be happy to go a third time, I want to try everything! Both times, we made reservations ahead of time - table was ready when we got there, and the service was friendly. Highly recommend if your party includes vegan, vegetarians and omnivores, there's something for everyone.

Good food, I enjoyed their steak

Would recommend coming to this restaurant with a bit of pre-planning if visiting with a larger party. This restaurant is designed for small parties on the surface. However the food is very good.

Somehow this restaurant is incapable of assigning individual cheques at the same table. The maximum split they are capable of, is a 4 ways split. It does not matter if you have a party of 5 or 10, they will refuse to do any individual checks, and always force the entire table to spit the cheque 4 ways.

One of the servers acted a little rude when I challenged this policy.
I normally would have given them 1 star on principle for the rude server and strange/inconvenient policy combination; however the food was good enough for the price point to warrant a second, third, and fourth star, despite the strange policies and incident with the server.

Amani the host was amazing!! So nice and helpful even though she wasn’t our server she was very nice helpful and accommodating.
