My packers (Josh and Andrew) were awesome! They were on time, made sure to take care of my items,, were extremely nice, even offered to vacuum. Up some leftover styrofoam. They really took care of me as the customer. When the crate they had was too small, they had another one delivered at no cost to me. If it were just for the packing side of the house, I'd give the company 5 stars! Unfortunately, making the reservation did not go as smoothly. I was promised call back that never happened (multiple times). My contact info had to put in the system twice as it didn't happen the first time. If I hadn't stayed on top of things, I'm not sure I would have had my items ready for shipment. Again, huge shout out to Josh, Andrew and Gretl. Unfortunately, not all of their staff were as attentive.

Outstanding team of workers. The original estimate assumed a 6 hour project. It took nearly twice as long. The extra time was blamed on need to use plastic rap as opposed to blankets which should have come with the truck. Not a single complaint from the crew and put in the extra hours with not single complaint. The estimator attemped to charge an additional 2k for the extra time his error caused. When confronted, the original bid was honored.

I contacted MoveHER for a quote after filling out their online form. When they called me, they asked detailed questions about my move — how many boxes, their sizes, and the stairs at both my current and new apartments. I explained that I have about 25 boxes (largest being just a typical large box), one flight of stairs at my current place, and three flights at my new place.

Instead of simply giving me a quote, the representative sounded frustrated and acted like my move was unusually difficult — specifically pointing out that “three flights of stairs is a lot.” Honestly, for a moving company, stairs should not be treated like an unreasonable surprise. Stairs come with the job. If your company is going to act put off by something so basic, that’s a red flag.
