Caring people , but lack communication.

This was the most comforting therapeutic experience of my whole life! The staff is wonderful and that includes the nurses, therapists, techs and cooks!
Every class was immensely helpful and we had ample time to rest throughout the day.
There is options to smoke or get help with smoking cessation and they help you with psychiatry every single day!
I cannot say enough good things about this awesome experience.

Went to MRC unwillingly I was ready to get clean but didn’t know anything about the program. While I was in detox at Advent Health my mom informed me that they were the only place that could get me in right away. I went there with a very bad attitude I didn’t want to be there I didn’t know anything about it and it was a very depressing place when we pulled into the parking lot. Once inside the building I was met with a smile and a warm welcome. My first few days here I was depressed and unwilling to give it a try but stuck it out. After a few days I started opening up and getting to know people. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Everyone was very open to helping me be comfortable and accommodating my needs. I completed 26 days in detox with the plan to go to an Oxford house. Around that time I decided Oxford wasn’t for me and felt I would relapse I talked to my therapist and...

MRC saved my life. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a ton of great counselors and helped me in this lifelong journey. They kept the place very clean. It was a home away from home. I also made some lifelong friends in recovery I would highly recommend.

Due to my wife’s bipolar disorder I had to ask her to get help with MRC Midwest Recovery Center. She enrolled in there in-house treatment program. Both her and I were very pleased with all aspects of the program. She had a beautiful bedroom and lived in extremely clean and comfortable facility. She had group therapy several times a day as well as one on one sessions. She was very sick when she went in and came out a change woman!! We both felt that the staff were like family and I would recommend this place for anyone who struggles with this disease!! They also have a drug and alcohol problem for those in need that is very helpful.

5 stars all day! Christian & Taylor are a wealth of knowledge and resources for our community. The level of professionalism from Madi in admissions all the way to the quality of care Suzanne’s team provide is truly next to none. If you or a loved one are seeking treatment in KCMO, I’d highly recommend giving Midwest Recoveries a call.

The staff was super friendly and eager to help out those in need. They really made the whole experience along with the peers. It was a great place to form a fellowship of our own! The food staff as well were excellent providing amazing meals for us with options galore on grazing throughout today. My goal was to gain weight and I definitely succeeded there! They even got me meal replacement shakes (strawberry flavored might I add), for when my appetite wasn’t spot on, they definitely got me right all around and had me smiling the entire time!
