I was ripped off with pricing for parts not covered by my home warranty. For example, $310 was quoted and charged for new water line and fittings even though less than $100 worth of line and fittings was actually used. Charged $165 for a $50 expansion tank. Quoted and charged $35 for modifying the gas line which only ended up needing to have a couple inches cut off the bottom, no new line or relocating was needed. Charged $95 for a $23 drain pan. It’s obvious that I was being taken advantage of for pricing because I was going through my home warranty company that only covered the tank itself.
