Melton Plumbing

First American assigned Tom Melton to our plumbing issue after business hours on a Tuesday. We were contacted by 7 am the following morning. Plumbers arrived later that same day and did a professional repair to our complete under sink drain system. Outstanding work, outstanding communication. Don’t understand the negative reviews. We will definitely use Tom Melton Plumbing again.

On Saturday, November 18 our kitchen sink was clogged causing the basement to flood. We immediately called First American Home Warranty to send a plumber to fix the issue. On Wednesday, November 22 the plumber, Tom Melton of Tom Melton Plumbing came to our home to fix the issue. Remember, we had already been without a kitchen sink for 4 days. The service took under an hour and my fiance gave him a check to cover the $75 service fee. They left and shortly after we begin doing the dishes and the basement began to flood again. We called Tom Melton plumbing and left a voicemail and also called FAHW. The representative we spoke to said we need to wait at least an hour to see if the plumber would call back. After waiting and calling the plumber with no answer we called FAHW again. We got another representative who said they would contact other plumbers to get the issue resolved ASAP...

We were referred by our home warranty company and were supposed to receive a call from Melton within 24 hrs to fix a bad leak. Never received the call and eventually had to cancel the request so we could get on with fixing the leak elsewhere.

I was referred to Tom Melton by my home warranty to fix my garbage disposal. I called on a saturday afternoon, expecting to get someone out early the following week. Tom was able to get someone to my house the next day to fix the problem. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes, problem solved. Fast, reliable service. I will be using them again in the future.

Unreliable. Told me that he would handle the claim with our home warranty and would come out on Saturday to look at the water heater. Received no call and when calling the home warranty he told them he was unavailable till Monday. Will never use again.

Unreliable. Hot water tank stopped working and was scheduled for Melton to work with us through American home insurance...after two weeks we end up having to find someone else after he continued having excuses that he lost the tracking number, office assistant out of town and then some. Almost a month later someone called to schedule and was irritated that we went else where.
