Buyer beware!

The guys came out for my home warranty to replace my water heater. The inspection crew were in and out in 5 mins. Knew it was bad just by my description. Verified and got my new one ordered. The install crew came back 2 days later once my warranty company got the new heater. They were in and out in about 45 mins - maybe less. Super friendly. Professional. Hard working. Satisfied with both factions in the process.

A guy named Will was very professional and knew what he was doing. Got it done in a timely manner.

I was referred to Melton from AHS house insurance for a stoppage in the kitchen sink.

I was told that there was a possible cracked/broken pipe, and will be notified if our home insurance plan will authorize the repair. This was on a Wednesday. On Friday, I left a message at their office to call me for an update during office hours. Still no contact, so I left another (slightly aggressive but professional) phone call on Monday (5 days later).

They responded back within 15min and was quite rude. They said the job was completed and to call AHS. They do not repair cracked pipes and blamed AHS for not following up.

I called AHS and they reported that Melton just put their report in less than an hour after talking to them on the phone. So now I have to restart the whole process again.

If I could give them no stars I would. The only reason I used them is because that is who my home warranty company has us use them. They repaired a faucet that leaked into be ceiling which in return collapsed instead of them hiring a drywall company they sent they same plumber that did not install the faucet properly to repair my ceiling and it is a repair job my 11 year old could have done. As he told me he was finished he said, “you shouldn’t have too much sanding to do, have a nice day” and left. I shouldn’t be sanding anything! It should look like it did before it collapsed. No one will return phone calls. I couldn’t even tell you the plumbers name because he never introduced himself the 3 times he has been here.

I bought a new home and have had numerous water pipe leaks, water heater problems, and water softener issues over the past 3 years. Both Tom and Dewey have fixed these problems. They diagnosed the problems and fixed them quickly. They responded within 8 hours to each of my service calls. I couldn't be happier with their service.

The worker dispatched to my house was named Dewy. He was incredibly knowledgeable and explained to me the repairs that he would be making on my plumbing. He finished the job fast and did quality work. I will be requesting him for any future plumbing issues and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who is looking to have quality work done!

We recently purchased a home and had several water/plumbing issues. Will was FANTASTIC! He was very knowledgeable, and kind and so willing to help us out! He came in and knew exactly what the problem was. He explained everything so thoroughly, explaining what will happen next, and a time frame. Very pleased with his service! Great customer service! And he was kind to my kiddos. Thats an A++ in my book!

We have had Melton plumbing out for many plumbing issues and they have always replaced or fixed it. Very friendly and do a great job.

Just absolutely terrible. My first appointment with them they were an hour and a half late. The guy called me annoyed because I had to leave to make a meeting. I rescheduled and sure enough they didn't even show for the second appointment. I called and they tried to accuse me of lying saying the plumber marked it as complete. Never apologized or anything. I then decided to just go with another company. After reading the rest of these reviews it's clear I made the right decision. This company is a joke. Run!

**UPDATE** After leaving this review, Melton Plumbing texted me threatening to have their attorney contact me and take me to court for this review. This has been the most bizarre experience ever. I clearly dodged a bullet.
