Update: the response to my review is categorically false so I can only assume they have the wrong claim ticket. I have never received any further communication from them and never received any response to my email. Additionally no one from my household was given any kind of quote or spoke with anyone after the one technician came. And yes, there was only one technician in our home, not two.

This contractor was assigned by our home warranty company to fix a gas leak. The technician was an hour late and then said he couldn't do the work and "someone will call you on Monday." We never heard another word from them. When you call, there is not an option to speak to a person, they just ask you to send an email. So I did, and have not received a reply. It's been 6 days and our home has been without gas the whole time. We called another plumber and they fixed it...

There was an initial scheduling mix-up with the office. Long story short, they told us we were scheduled, then didn't show up. Oddly enough the owner called later that to schedule with us, when I explained what happened he got us on the schedule for the next day. The individual was on time and very professional.

Zach is the best! He is on time (usually calls earlier than expected which is great!) He is professional, and he is a family man who knows how to make sure a young family is taken care of. Warranty claims are no fun, but he makes them seamless. 10 stars!

Terrible experience, multiple appointments canceled and very unprofessional customer service. After the first visit when they diagnosed the problem I didn’t hear for two weeks. I called them and the warranty company because they dropped the ball. Appointment was scheduled but on same day after I changed my schedule to be home they called and said they didn’t have the part after they confirmed upon making the appointment. Very disorganized and rude

The service was not completed. I paid the deductible to them and the guy said he had to go get a different tool and would come back later in the day. There was no communication that he wasn’t coming back and no communication the next day about the incomplete service. Still waiting for my refund!

I do not recommend Melton Plumbing. They made appointments that they did not show up for and they informed the Home Warrant that there was not a blockage when there was standing sewage in my basement. They are not professional at all and I would not recommend them.

Mark arrived at my home shortly after his notification call and was able to fix our water heater issue. He did point out a few things about our particular set up that were odd that may have contributed to it not working, but he was familiar with our home warranty policy. He gave us advice on what to do if future issues arise to best help us utilize our policy as affordably as possible. He was quick and efficient on the job.

Twice our warranty company contacted Melton. First time they showed up, got approval for removing drywall and said they would contact us to complete work. Never heard from them again (nor did they answer when we called) and was refunded without our issue getting fixed. Second time (this past week) had a sump pump issue and again warranty company contacted Melton. This time they just never contacted us at all and now have to sit on hold with warranty company and try to start the whole process again. Just communicate!!! I can certainly understand being overwhelmed with work when the whole city needs you, but have the decency to contact people and let them know whats going on. With me using our warranty, I am at your mercy until you reach out. I have all this documented if the owner would like to argue w me online.
