Melton Plumbing

Our home warranty company contracted Melton to replace our water heater. They were scheduled to come from 8-12 am, never showed. Called and then was told they would come between 2-5pm, never showed. Had to call and see what the hold up was and had to reschedule for the next day. They showed up and the service tech was yelling to his coworker and then was yelling at us from the basement... WHILE I WAS ON A WORK CALL, because I work from home now (like many people do). My coworkers could hear profanities from the basement, that's how loud they were yelling. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want your home and time respected.

We used Melton through AHS and was very happy with their service. They replaced a broken disposal. There was an issue with the first install but they promptly came out the next business morning and fixed the issue. They were very prompt and the communication was as expected. No issues for us.

The technician Dewey came in took charge of the situation diagnosed and fixed the thermocouple to my hot water tank, it was a great service experience, very courteous and professional. If I have any plumbing needs in the future I will not hesitate to call Melton Plumbing.

Well, it's been two weeks and I've have yet to get a response back from anyone who works there. I paid for them to come to my home for a estimate on repairs, even left several messages with the owner and their answering service. I too used my home warranty service and they also tried to contact the company. No response, i guess it is money loss. I am going to have to get another company that will take better care of their customers.

Quick to respond, plumbers were able to complete a whole water heater replacement in about two hours (shoutout to Bryan and Derek). Manager/owner is extremely knowledgeable in the industry and all 3 were great with customer service! Would definitely recommend.

I was provided this company through our home warranty company, HSA, to fix/repair the hot water heater. The service technician was on-time and polite however, when he contacted his "boss" via telephone is when the issues started. The "boss" was very rude and unprofessional and told me what the problem was without ever visiting our home. He wouldn't listen to reason regarding when the problem was actually occurring and kept saying it was happening at 1-2am, which wasn't the case. When I started to correct him, he told me I was going to let him finish, which was exceptionally rude. He then ordered the technician to leave our home and go to the next service call without finishing the conversation in a professional manner.

Long story short, I wish I had read the reviews in advance. They will not be welcome back in my home.

Stay far far away even if your Home Warranty Company sends these guys do NOT let them in your house. You will be better off PAYING out of pocket for actual plumbers.

Like many others, my home warranty assigned my plumbing job to Melton. It took a couple days to arrange for a tech to come out, and when the day came, he was a little over an hour past the initial ETA I was given. Not too big of a deal considering it was the early afternoon, but nevertheless, I was told a time and he wasn't there. He arrived in a POV and when I asked if his work makes him drive his own vehicle, he said yes--then proceeded to tell me his employer had jacked up his paycheck and mileage reimbursement. We weren't even in my house yet and I'm pretty sure therapists don't pay clients to hear their problems. Anyway, the problem **I** had was in the kitchen and he diagnosed it pretty quickly.
