Melton Plumbing

What is a signed plumber by American home shield warranty company. When tech arrived he explained that the install would be very easy, then I find out that there is $584 worth of additional charges for modifications that I know for a fact don’t need to be done. When I call them the person at in Melton Plumbing over talk to me the entire conversation and cut me off when I tried to speak, and when I got frustrated that he wouldn’t let me speak he told me to find another plumber. Would not advise working with this customer unfriendly company

This broken and eroded pipe was inspected by one of Melton's contractors about ten days ago with the promise to get me informed or have it repaired shortly. I have not heard from Melton, nor could FAHW shed any light on where and why there is no movement.
I am more disappointed from First American Home Warranty, who are not controlling their subs and jobs under construction. If you call and complain about lack of information from the sub, they just tell you to clarify with the assigned sub.
However, punctually every month FAHW deducts their membership fees from my account.
Caught between these irresponsible parties, the customer is suffering!!!

Absolutely horrible service. No customer service personnel are actually at their place of business so the people that answer the phone can't even give a estimate of when someone could be out to fix whatever issue there is. Whatever you do do NOT use this company.

Unfortunately Melton Plumbing is one of the worst companies I have had to work with. They were assigned for our home warranty twice. Both times they never called before arriving. The plumber they sent was in a very beat up truck, very poorly dressed and not at all professional. He seemed lethargic and was difficult to communicate with. He had little to no tools with him and was unable to successfully repair the issue with out bathtub. He said the company might just need to send someone else. The second time they were assigned to us they called at 7:45PM on a Sunday to let us know they would be out on Monday sometime. When we asked for a more specific time frame the lady assured us that they would call at 8am to schedule a specific time. They never called and just showed up while I was in the middle of a work call. So much run around and no work completed. I would have to recommend...

John had to check a toilet that started leaking again after a repair done in September. Through no fault of his own the wax ring he installed at that time failed. He was timely and professional as he went about his work. I would call Melton plumbing again for service.

I purchased a dishwasher through Lowes and Melton was contracted to do the installation. Melton rescheduled 3 times with Lowes and I was not notified. Melton no showed on 2 different scheduled install days. They would not return calls or reply to messages. I do not recommend using this company for anything. Their customer service is terrible.

They repaired the outdoor drain and left the yard in great shape even replacing the sod,

John came up for a repair. Great and fast service with a call ahead and explaining what he was doing and why.
