Melton Plumbing

American Home & Shield sent them to my home. They came 2/9. My call originated 2/4. (today is 2/20). The technician showed up in a car. Told me his work van blew up that morning. He was unprepared. He asked me for my tape measure. I took off work that day thinking it would at least be half done. No. NOTHING WAS DONE. I was told they were replacing my hot water tank. No one fron Melton has contacted me. I have called, left vm's, texts and nothing. I keep filing complaints with AHS as well. At this point, I am ready to report both companies to BBB. DO NOT CONTRACT MELTON. TWO THUMBS DOWN.

Terrible! Had them come out through HSA to find and fix main water into the house. They never found it and said they don't have the equipment to find it. After they left, submitted a report to the HSA that the water was leaking outside the house. Then did answer the HSA or me on their phone, emails, or voicemails about their report. Good luck if you get them!
That's a crazy response considering no equipment was used at all! Both reps from your company left shrugging their shoulders not knowing where it was leaking, yet another lie.

Not only did they NOT repair the faucet, they caused it to leak which damaged brand new carpet. They refuse to respond to our request to repair it properly and pay for damage caused by their negligence.
They are forcing us to file a lawsuit and a complaint with the BBB.
Do NOT allow your home warranty company to send these jokers. They should not even be in business.

Unresponsive to service call. They caused water damage and refused to reply to emails, voice messages or text messages. Filing a complaint with the BBB. Do NOT allow your home warranty provider to send this company.

Horribly unprofessional. Left me waiting for two days! And, then didn't even fix the problem! Run from this company.

Day 1: Called American Home Shield report problem.
Day 2: Assigned Melton Services. Told them I had literally one hour within the entire week I was not available.
Day 3: Scheduled me during the one hour I was not available
Day 4: Called to resechedule
Day5: The technician said it would be an easy job. But, he didn't fix it correctly. How inept! Resubmitted claim.
Day 6: They rescheduled to return in the morning. Reported to American Home Shield when they hadn't showed up by early afternoon. Told to wait until 5. They never showed up.

Day 6: Will be cancelling American Home Shield. And will use my reliable plumber and hope to never cross paths with Melton again.

Was very professional. Came on a Saturday to look it over they got with the warranty company did reschedule the install appointment but came out the very next day. Clean up their mess and left everything in working condition

I cannot say enough great things about Melton Plumbing!! I recently moved into my first home, and I quickly found that my second-floor bathtub was leaking through the ceiling of the room below it. Luckily, this was covered by the home warranty, and I was promptly contacted by Melton Plumbing. The woman I spoke with explained that they were booked a few days out, and I assured them it was no problem. Throughout the next few days, the company stayed in touch with me to let me know when they’d be coming out. The day of the appointment, I received multiple calls giving me more specific details. When the serviceman arrived, he was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He kept me in the loop on what was going on, and got the problem fixed in just over an hour!! The bathtub has been tested, and the ceiling is dry as a bone! Thank you Melton Plumbing!!!!

Can I give ZERO STARS? Melton didn't show for THREE STRAIGHT DAYS! They just NO SHOWED. Totally unprofessional. Then I got an email setting a new appointment for two days from now....which I am pretty sure they would have NO SHOWED AGAIN. Avoid - Avoid - Avoid them.

AHS connected me with Melton. Zach was our tech today and did a really great job. He was personable, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. He's a great guy. Fantastic

Tom Melton was not super communicative with us. As a matter of fact, I left 3 messages and sent 2 text messages that went unanswered. Finally I sent an email that was answered. They need to be more available to answer calls. Their answering service is terrible.
