Melton Plumbing

Love Brian (sorry if that is spelt wrong!). He is communicative and up front with us. He fights for us with our home warranty company, which I can't say how much I appreciate enough (First American Home Warranty is horrendous), and he is very flexible and courteous of our time. We plan to go directly through him instead of using our terrible home warranty company anymore. All future calls will be made with Melton.

My home warranty company sent this company to my home to fix a dripping shower faucet. The next day water was pouring into my basement. Melton sent a second “plumber” he cut a hole through my drywall (that still haven’t been fixed in 3 weeks after being told it would) and he couldn’t fix the leak the first plumber caused. They sent a 3rd guy who decided it was actually the toilet. Not my toilet flooded the bathroom and basement is still leaking. They ghosted me on the 4th appointment today.

They were contractors through my home warranty company. They broke my sink by accident but the technician said they’d fix it next time but the home warranty said it’s on the contractor (melton) to fix. I’ve called them 3 times and left voicemails each time about once a week for 3 weeks and nothing. No response at all. My sink sprays everywhere now.

I had 2 guys over within 2 hours of my call. They performed tasks as stated and SWISH my drain is clean 🙂
I highly recommend this family!

I'd give less stars if possible. Melton was contracted to repair shower plumbing through a warranty service. The stems are so cockeyed that you can't even put the flange plate on the stem for the handle.

I see from the reviews that this is a common problem ⚠️ with this company.

This company is a joke. They literally have no way to contact them by phone, they want emails only. You can leave a voicemail, but my warranty company left a voicemail with them trying to escalate my issue to an emergency, then they claimed they never got the voicemail. IDK, I'm guessing they just didn't want a long drive and wanted to service my issue on their own terms. When they called me to reschedule my emergency for the 2nd day in a row, I told them that this was an emergency and couldn't keep being rescheduled; they said "Well your warranty company hasn't escalated it to an Emergency"...well they tried, but you guys have no phone contacts! Melton told me to call back and use an extension to reach a person, and told me if my warranty company called that number and told them it was an emergency, they would fit me in today. Guess what, warranty company tried calling that...

Terrible they don’t have a way to call anyone and they suggest email but YOU WILL NOT GET A RESPONSE

Finally got ahold of someone and they were the rudest person i’ve ever dealt with so unprofessional.

My water heater broke on a Friday morning. Called my home warranty company and dispatched Melton plumbing. You cannot call or leave a voicemail. The recording says the “quickest response “ is send an email. Never heard a word from them until Monday afternoon at 5:15pm!!!! Then, they said they tried calling ( Lies ). I asked why didn’t they leave a message then and they couldn’t answer me. They never called because I had my phone with me at all times. I ended up using someone else, so I’m hoping my home warranty company will reimburse me.

Our home warranty service (AMS) assigned Melton Plumbing to address our failed water heater. They responded quickly, and even figured ways to expedite our filing process. We had some bad weather that delayed the replacement work but then they came late on a Friday to get the job done. Great work, great service.
