I had a leak in my bathtub that was found by seeing water on my ceiling. I luckily had a homeowner's warranty that covered this issue. I was skeptical when the warranty company chose Melton Plumbing based on the user ratings I saw online. My experience with the plumber far exceeded my expectations. They were able to get out the next day, on time, and diagnose the leak quickly and make the fix. The plumber was very attentive, answered all my questions and walk me though the process to assure the fix was done correctly and what to do if there was ever another problem in the future. Just shows you not to trust every review without giving the company a chance. I was very pleased with the work and the friendliness and knowledge of the staff.

I will make this short but sweet. He called and gave me a time window of an hour and a half. I said great I will have somebody there to let In. He called me back and said I’ll be there in 20 minutes I said unfortunately I can only have someone there with the timeframe that you gave me. He then told me 20 minutes or nothing. I said at this time I would like to talk to someone else he kind of laughed and then hung up on me. Beware of Milton. As of the other reviews I have read hanging up is not the first time for this company. I talked to a gentleman from Milton on the phone after and he was polite. But the technician I do not know who they are hiring but not customer service oriented.

The plumbers themselves were courteous and tried to repair my hot water heater.

The customer service/dispatch manager Stephen is absolutely inept, unprofessional, and the reason for such a bad review.

The biggest problem with this company is everyone in between the owner and the actual plumbers who do the work. The owner and the plumbers themselves were great, but all the office/dispatch people need to be fired.

Horrible. They never showed up or called but told the home warranty company they did. It's been 3 weeks. I'm still waiting to resolve it with my warranty coming. They don't deserve a single star, but I was required to enter a rating in order to post this review. Avoid this company.

I would like to further add that this company had the audacity to invoice my home warranty company for the work they never did. Theft? Fraud? You decide.

Melton was sent out through AHS. I was informed that I would need a new clean out installed and how much it would be (as it was not covered by my warranty) Then when I called to schedule, I was told (very rudely) that the price increased. Even though I was upset with the price change, I was still willing to move forward with service. I spoke to someone who said he would call back to schedule. He never did. I called 10 times since that conversation and had AHS reach out for them to call me and have not heard back from anyone. Also, after technician tried to clear my stoppage, he left water all over my basement and now my WASHER is leaking everytime I use it. So that’s another thing I have to get fixed. I would not recommend this company. And will be reporting to AHS that they are now losing a customer because of this horrible experience. The companies that AHS use are always money...

It took a week and a half just for someone to come to my home. The technician who's name is Dewey (I only know that because of the text message that my home warranty sent me) walked into my home and mumbled a few incoherent words. I showed him to my basement. I have a friend who actually works for the city who came to my home because I felt more comfortable having him there with the plumber. My friend was showing him the problems and then took him outside to check things out there..My friend came back in about 30 minutes later to give me an update but the plumber never came back inside to tell me anything. He just left without even fixing anything. I have called the owner on numerous occasions with no response back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A COMPLETE RIP OFF AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

PLEASE avoid using this company if at all possible. I have had this hole in my kitchen ceiling for 5+ months now. We have had a total of 4 plumbers from Melton Plumbing come out and each time they blame the leak on a different issue. We were assured the leak was fixed, paid a separate contractor to fix the drywall, then found out the hard way that it wasn't actually fixed. Look forward to long wait times and unhelpful office staff.

**Special mention: The office manager, Stephen, is the most unorganized and disrespectful "manager" I have ever dealt with. He is full of excuses and blame-shifting, while providing minimal effort in actual results.

BEWARE of Melton Plumbing!!

I can’t warn my neighbors enough.. do NOT use Melton/Tom Melton plumbing! Our warranty company assigned them to my claims and they have been very unhelpful and did more damage than they’ve helped. They’ve had to come out at least 5 times. The second time - the day after the plumber came out the first time/day before to ‘fix two issues’ the same night the same problem persisted (when the dishwasher ran it threw a pipe off under the sink and water would go everywhere) and he couldn’t figure it out… so he kept insisting a pay him a tip and asked me for it several times, despite knowing he was billing the warranty company. Another time they came out for a leak from our master bathroom that was leaking into our dining room ceiling and all he did was caulk more. The problem persisted. They came out again and told me he’d have to get parts and...
