We are an urgent care clinic, offering traditional urgent care services such as sick visits, injuries, and testing with same day appointments for adults and children. We also offer DOT and Coast guard physicals, drug screens, TB testing and various occupational health services.

We came in with an ill 3 month old, no fever but with congestion and slight wheezing. Our pediatrician's office is closed on the weekend so we went to this urgent center as their website says they treat children and infants.

At the front desk, there was an initial question on if a baby so young should be seen but they decided to see him. The person examining him (she didn't provide her name or if she was a doctor, RN, or any other qualifications) was quite unsure of herself, saying how she wasn't experienced in examining a young infant. After listening to his chest she hemmed and hawed, saying she can't be sure of anything. She ultimately said we should go to an ER just to be safe; during the whole exam it felt like she was afraid that she'd be held responsible if anything bad happened to our child. Very Friendly service. I would definitetly return here if I need medical attention while visiting again. The out of pocket cost was fair. I called a 24 hr place and they wanted to charge over 300.00 just to be seen, my cost here was under 200.00

This was a great experience for an Urgent Care. The staff was wonderful and it didn’t take too long to get my news and off I went. The first time I’ve used AFC and was very impressed. Was able to get x-rays and a diagnosis in a short time. I would recommend this place based on my experience.

My visit was pleasant and everyone was helpful. i do wish that i was informed on phone that i had a copay balance from previous visit . i asked the clerk at front desk if it was sent to me than because i never received it. i think that you should collect copays the same day as visit.
