AFC Urgent Care Torrance

Called before going in as to when their walk in times are for drug screen. The woman on the phone said 7 pm. I went in around 6:45 and they tell me they can’t do drug screen because by law they need to give the person being tested 3 hours. I was like the person on the phone literally said 7pm for drug testing walk ins and she goes like, well it wasn’t me it was a student she is being trained. I feel like if the student is answering phones unsupervised then she should be provided with this basic info.

I then go to the website to book an appointment to see if it lets me book something for drug testing after 5 pm. It does, I could book an appointment until 7:15 pm the next day. Terrible experience. Staff looks lazy and is unhelpful. Won’t be going back.

Had a terrible cough and was enable to breath probably, upon getting there I got the treatment I expected and even more, AFC urgent care did awesome, highly recommend

Easy and time saving visit. Their online registration is quick, specially since a returning patient. My son has frequent ear infections due to his swimming routine and instead of waiting for an appointment with his pediatrician, we opted for this urgent care visit, we were in and out swiftly.

All is perfect and Dr Lauren is Amazing

Came to the UFC Urgent Care this morning with the children, due to ear pain and fever. Dr. Maria was really sweet and great at taking care of us. Really glad we came here.

Horrible experience. Get extremely rushed. Went in for a swelling below my ear that was very large. PA came in and looked at me for 2 seconds and said yup, ear infection! But I’ve have many ear infections as a kid and this felt very different. I said, “are you sure?” She said let me see in you mouth and put her little flashlight in there and said “yup I can tell by your tonsils!” … …. Great, except my tonsils were removed when I was 9. The medical establishment is really falling apart, and this place is no exception. After speaking with a friend I’m certain it is parotitis. But thanks for nothing. Really hope a don’t get a bill in the mail for this waste of time.

You need to wait for so long to get your tests done
Staff not friendly with patients

Was not feeling well. Made appointment on line. Was real easy. Super fast service. Real nice staff. Great Doctor.
