AFC Urgent Care Torrance

They don’t have transparency and visibility on the queues. I have waited more than three hours to be called. The staff showed disrespect when asked the waiting time.

Not even one star, I came at 10 am, only got in after 2-3 hours just for them to tell me they can’t fill out one physical exam form for my school. Not mentioning that I sat in the doctor’s room for another half an hour. Only one person working on the front window, taking calls and a line starts to form waiting to check in. No way do I spend FOUR HOURS at that place to be told it’ll be $800 total for some blood test, ECG, x ray, regular physical, and hiv test. No reassurance, no help, no support, straight up milking more money for two pieces of paper.

This place was the worst Urgent Care I've ever been to they have you make an appointment only to not see you more than an hour after you've been there. They're xray machines don't work so it was a pointless visit but yet they still charged me the $25 copay I will never go back here again. I would give them a half star if I could

I made a reservation, but we’ve already been waiting for two hours. My daughter has fallen ill due to the long wait. What was the point of making a reservation?

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Since last year I went in for 1 visit the girl at the front made a mistake when she input my name and was being charged $50, mind you my copay is $15 so I told her and she claimed to have fixed it. 3 months after they send me a letter saying I owe them $30 dollars claiming my insurance isn’t covering my cost. I talk to the insurance and that’s not the case. Months follow and they send me another letter claiming I owe them $85 so I went to the link on the text they also send out and saw the itemized and I am being charged double for all tests that were provided during initial visit. I went online and spoke to someone and they told me the insurance only covered portion of it and I told them the mistake the receptionist had made during my visit and how she claimed to have fixed it. My girlfriend came in to get a physical. The front desk nurse mentioned it would be a bit of a wait. We decided to make an appointment for 4 pm. We arrived 10 minutes early and now it is 5 pm and still in the waiting room. We will be telling our union official to find a better clinic for our annual physicals. One that respects appointment times.

Maria was so amazing, this was my first time here and she gave me a great experience and got me the medicine I needed to get better. One of the best urgent cares I’ve been to and Maria was so nice and caring.
