MARINA GRILL

My wife and I went for a late lunch, I was on crutches at the time. Once I got through the front doors there was no hostess at the front. My wife went and parked, walked in, went to the restroom, returned still no hostess. We were ultimately seated by a waitress which was fine. The place was virtually empty at 3:00. The service was disappointing, the menu very limited, the 1st drink my wife ordered had to be returned.
We were extremely disappointed given the fact this place had been a favorite of ours when it was Blackfin.
Not sure what will lure us back. Sorry.

While *I* enjoyed the cumin seasoning on the half rack, others did not enjoy it so much. you may want to consider something more smokey.

Nice venue, nice building. Sucky service. Unfortunately we don’t know how the food was because we left after not being greater for at least 10 minutes after we were sat. Not even so much as a drink order. Goodness knows that there were plenty of servers. Also, it was 12pm on a Sunday and the only gave us a brunch menu. Seriously? As stated above, we couldn’t even get a glance from any server to ask for a lunch menu.

So, we left and went to a much better place recommended by a guy in the parking lot...Front Street Brewery. Coming from Nashville, it was a welcome scene for great service. We’re not from this area but our server Mallory made us feel at home!

Our family loves this Port City Marina restaurant. Great food and great people.

We tried this place on a whim, as we were staying at the Embassy next door. It was great! Actually some of the best food and drinks we experienced while staying downtown. Our server Karen did a great job as well. We'll most definitely come back and would not hesitate to recommend to others! Well done Marina Grill!!
