Service needs some serious work. My mother's day "brunch" was a disaster and and they were out of what my mom wanted to order. She got the crab Benedict and the egg was so over cooked she was not happy at all. It broke my heart.. Took way too long for the food to come out and my dad had to chase our waiter down for syrup for my grandmothers chicken n waffles.

We took a nice boat ride there for Mother's Day and our group of 12 with a 1:15 reservation waited over an hour seated at the table for breakfast foods and basic sandwiches. The staff was nice and the food was good but the wait was the worst I've had in Wilmington as long as I can remember.

Mother’s Day at Marina Grill. 55 minutes from when we ordered until food arrived. This was off the limited item Brunch menu. Food was good, but not good enough for the wait. Not overly crowded, so no excuse for such long ticket times. Waitress was lovely and attentive, and location is great. Can’t take that long for order. Don’t think we will return.

Beautiful location! Food was so-so. Flavors on the Asian salad missed the mark, so added ranch and balanced it out better. Steak was tender, but lacked flavor. A little loud with the music inside. But next time, may go back just for drinks outside on the riverfront.
