The company owner sent me a full refund which was greatly appreciated and shows their good will towards their customers and that they keep their word. Thank you Dusty, as far as I am concerned, I learned something from all this: to leave antique tapestries alone and if I need something done by a certain date to not rely on timetables given but to explicitly state so.
I chose Love-a-rug after reading all the excellent reviews here, to take a 50 year old Belgian tapestry, a family heirloom for cleaning. It was sent to us as a wedding gift from family in Belgium and was supposed to be part of the wedding decor.
I talked with Dusty over the phone to ask whether this is something they did and he reassured me they had a lot of experience with tapestries, so I brought it in.
