Jay and Steve investigated a light fixture outside that stopped working. Jay is super knowledgeable, but his presentation included far too much info and went way further than I asked. I had a very specific request. Jay went far beyond the scope of what I was looking for in both info about my home and scope of work. He provided an estimate for well over 15k that included rewiring, trench digging, etc. again, i just wanted a light to work on my garage.

I understand that the interior & exterior is all connected so there was some rationale behind what he was sharing & my request may not be as simple of a fix as I had hoped, but after ongoing discussions & the realities of our budget, jay eventually offered other, lower estimates, that focused more directly on the issue, but still was far beyond what I was looking for that day.
