When the tech, Greg Swensen, came to troubleshoot the problem that we were experiencing with the electrical panel in the lower garage he told us that the main breaker was not seated properly which was why it was tripping. He explained that the needed a new electrical panel to resolve the issue as just putting in a new main breaker would only be a band aid as this would happen again down the road and next time the house may catch fire. We agreed to have the panel replaced and he gave us some options on panels to choose from and explained the relevance of each panel. We chose the panel we thought would be the best solution and set up an appointment for the next day as Greg put in a temporary replacement switch so it would stop tripping. Called in the morning and was at my home within the hour. Did a great job troubleshooting and replacing a bedroom fan switch and adjusting the wires in our electrical box to be up to code. Read more >
