I've never had such a difficult time getting a copy of an eye glass prescription. I came here, doctors were great but I don't live near by. They refused to give me a copy unless I had another doctor request it or if I went in person. Finally drove almost 2 hours and was told my prescription expired even though it's been less than a year and that I had to make another appointment ($$). I guess I'm not entitled to my own health records. Ridiculous.
As an update: I had called numerous times prior, not just today and in neither of those phone calls did anyone explain to me that PA law may be different than NJ law even though I've said I lived out of state both times.
